글로벌사이버대학교(총장 이승헌) 뇌교육대학이 2023학년도 단과대학 승격을 기념해, ‘2022 뇌교육 융합심포지엄’을 개최했다고 14일 밝혔다.

2010년 세계 최초로 뇌교육 학위과정을 만든 글로벌사이버대학교는 10여 년간 생애주기별 뇌활용 전문인력 양성체계를 구축해 왔으며, 단과대학으로 승격된 뇌교육대학은 뇌교육학과, 뇌인지훈련학과, 치매전문케어 연계전공 등 2개 학과, 1개 복수학위 체계를 갖추고 있다.

교육부 공인 두뇌훈련 분야 국가공인 자격인 브레인트레이너 시험과목이 정규커리큘럼에 유일하게 편성돼 있으며, 졸업 시 뇌교육 학사학위를 받는다.

특히 2023학년도부터 보육교사 국가자격 과정을 갖추며, 인성전문 보육교사 양성에 나선다. 어린이집 원장 경력을 갖춘 유아 뇌교육 전문가들이 보육교사 자격 과목을 직접 강의하며, 뇌교육 도입 어린이집에서 보육실습을 진행하는 등 차별화된 보육교사 양성과정으로 현장의 많은 관심을 받고 있다.

뇌교육 단과대학 승격을 기념해 서울학습관에서 열린 ‘2022 뇌교육 융합심포지엄’은 ‘뇌교육 단과대학 승격, 뇌교육학과 비전(장래혁 뇌교육학과 학과장)’, ‘뇌인지훈련학과의 비전(오창영 뇌인지훈련학과 학과장)’, ‘두뇌훈련 뇌교육: 브레인트레이너 직업화(노형철 브레인트레이너협회 사무국장)’, ‘유아 뇌교육(이은정 키즈뇌교육 수석국장)’, ‘국제사회에서의 뇌교육 현황(김지인 국제뇌교육협회 국제협력실장)’ 5개 발표가 진행됐다.

글로벌사이버대학교 뇌교육대학은 이번 단과대학 승격을 기점으로 국가공인 브레인트레이너협회를 비롯한 여러 전문기관 및 단체들과의 협력 강화를 통해 두뇌훈련산업 선도에 더욱 박차를 가할 계획이다.
